DISCLAIMER

This training is offered strictly for educational purposes only. It does not promote, condone, or facilitate illegal activity in any way. Remember that for the time being, some psychedelic substances remain illegal in many countries. Psychedelic Therapy Training and ONCA offer education and harm reduction, but are not responsible for how psychedelic substances are used by trainees outside of supervised sessions.

This training will make sure that students have an ample array of tools and experience to accompany psychedelic therapy processes, but due to government  regulations, for the time being the Psychedelic Therapy Training cannot and does not offer medical licenses for students to provide psychedelic-assisted therapy services.

INVESTMENT

Including tax, tuition fees, food, and lodging during all six intensives in Gabon, Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador; the investment is $3,500 USD per semester. There is also an enrollment deposit of $1,800 USD that will cover extra expenses of the training program.

As a non-profit, 100% of the profit earned through this project will be donated to supporting the conservation and defense of ancestral knowledge in psychedelic indigenous communities. If you are interested in supporting scholarships, please consider a donation here.

The MA and Ph.D. pathways require an additional dissertation process and two or three online modules which must be paid directly to Ubiquity University.

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How many students do you have in each cohort?

    • 40 students

  • What kind of people are you looking to accept in the program?

    • We are mostly interested in supporting students who seem to have a personal commitment to service and compassionate action, who seem to have a potential of making a big impact in their communities and in the world, and who seem to be ready and open to personal transformation and to working through their shadow.

  • What is your plan for COVID

    • We are currently receiving applications for a cohort starting in 2022. In January we will begin the online program, and around may 2022 we intend to have the first residential intensive. We hope that by then things will be better. We will also divide the semester payment so that half is paid before beggining the semester, and the other half is paid upon arrival to the retreat. In this way, if we have to, rescheduling a retreat will be easier. Meanwhile, the online aspect of the training will continue.

  • Do I need to have a particular academic background in order to join the program?

    • Most of the students are coming in from the mental health area: psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health counselors...  But we are also admitting applicants that have a special connection to healing and to the transpersonal, even if they have not followed a traditional academic route connected to mental health, but have reached this through other means such as shamanism, mindfulness, experiential psychotherapy, activism, solid immersions into altered states, etc. etc.

  • Is the online part of the program pre-recorded, or is it live with specific dates and times?

    • The webinar classes from the online part of the program will be led live in specific dates. Students will be able to exchange questions and comments with the teachers during the webinars; and also, into some degree, in between classes through forums in the online learning environment. A recording of the interaction between students and teacher will be recorded for a short period of time for students to watch in case they couldn't make it to the live class, or would like to watch it again.
